WATERPROOFING AND BUILDING A SAUNA

Hello ,

Today it was an absolutely nice day.
we have been waiting for a week for the carpenter to come back but now that he is here we finally got started on all the good stuff.

The assignment for today was starting work on the sauna walls and the benches and waterproofing the toilet.
I had a great time learning and absorbing all the things the carpenter was teaching me.
He is very kind and takes time to explain every step and action he takes when building the sauna.
here are some pictures of the work we did in 2 days.

I also did some waterproofing while the carpenter was gone.
Good thing i learnt it already, and it was easy do to.
fisrt i put waterproofing in the corners then put the canvas on top and waterproofed the under the flap and then on top. When that was done i painted the waterproofing from corner to corner, put canvas from one end to the other and waterproofed on top of that. the toilet hole then had its turn followed by rhe whole floor. tommorow whe will put a second layer, let it dry and the cut out and fix the toilet and the drainage hole.
here is some more pictures. as you can see the corners and folds are not straight and in some places it was just isolation and nothing else, still for a first time i did follow the instructions i have had and was told i did a good job at it considering it was the first time ever and that the toilet there was not realy correctly done and hard to waterproof.
Here are some pictures.

More tommorow
